Central Kentucky. These are some of the ones I found last winter on my tobacco fields. I have found 30 or more since, not counting rougher thicker stuff like scrapers and whatnot. I have also found Houndreds of broken pieces in the past few months. I am a pure novice when it comes to identication. I picked up my first identifcation guide last year.

Thanks everyone. Everything there was found in South Central Kentucky Near one of the year around springs on my property. Considering that I find alot of drills and scrappers and perforators in that area I figure it was an inhabited for quite a long length of time.
I have hunted all over central Kentucky But mostly in the Casey, Garrard, Lincoln and Pulaski county area. I have had little luck with looking along creeks, and havent tried digging. Though I might try it soon. One of the reasons I joined this site was to get ideas on digging without breaking stuff and plans on how to put together some sifters.
There are places close to the spring I mentioned that have never been plowed, I have high hopes that I might find some quality stuff there.
