    Hello,
Brian here, i just wanted to say hi to everyone. From the Philadelphia area, my daughter and I have been searching around the various creeks and rivers within about an hour of the city, off and on for about two years now. We haven’t had any luck yet but we really enjoy it. As I dig deeper into all this the more I want to learn. I found this forum while doing some research online. Wow, just an amazing array of artifacts displayed. Hopefully we can learn some tips here from you all, Cheers!

                Hi Brian
A good place to meet other collectors in your area would be the Indian Artifact Shows sponsored by IACANE (Indian Artifact Collectors Association of the North East). Our next show is in July:

                LEHIGH VALLEY INDIAN ARTIFACT SHOW
                When: July 14, 2018
                Where: Schnecksville Fire Company
                4550 Old Packhouse Road
                Schnecksville, PA 18078

                Here is our website: http://users.erols.com/lselmer/iacane.htm

                Regards, John

I agree a great place to meet folks face to face and learn more about your local archaeology. Who knows you may find a hunting buddy there. It is always good to seek information near your own stomping grounds. Ask at the library too. They may have local publications or even know a local historian that could help guide you.
