  • New member from Wisconsin

New member from Walworth county Wi. I grew up as a kid in nearby Rochester Wi in Racine county. I'm lucky enough to be raised before cell phones and video games, well Atari was there but not in my house. We lived on a dead end backed up to the fox river and in those days it was mostly woods and tobacco fields. I still have three points that I found from all those years ago, and last year while hunting mushrooms, I had a surface find that brought all those memories back and now that I'm older I figured I'd start hunting again. Most fields now are subdivisions, and I haven't had much luck but I do look whenever I can. This site has been a great find and I hope I can contribute a lot when winter breaks.

Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone. Here are some pics of the three I found when I was a kid. Half the fields there are now a subdivision, but he kept some to continue fatmi g. I plan to knock on his door come spring and get permission to look again. Click image for larger version
