  • New to AH.com - riverridgerats

Ex-arrowheadology, finally making the leap. Relatively experienced collector with personal/family finds from the Sandhills of NE. Also involved with river restoration and other hobbies to distract me. Look forward to sharing "stuff" on the forum.

    regards,
    pat (riverridgerats)

Welcome from South America. (I mean Arkansas.). I hope you are staying on high ground up there, stay safe!

Wandering wherever I can, mostly in Eastern Arkansas, always looking down.

Sand ! Your talking my language. The sand related to the Ogallala Aquifer ? Korn country, we use to buy Smeal rigs there but they sold that part of the company and now make fire engines.....Like to see your artifacts...... JJ

Folks, thanks for the kind welcome!

Lindemeier-Man, yes, the sands above the O aquifer. Quite a few spring fed streams with opportunity for recent and paleo artifacts. The dunes cover close to 19,300 square miles and obscure a lot of history, unless you are able to find find blowouts. But, it is a wonderful region!
