Hi Tom. Welcome to our forum. I live in Alabama. We have members from Indiana and other mid western states. I'm sure you'll get some welcome aboard comments from them, too.
Glad to hear there is someone else from this area. Ever have much luck? I really have only been hunting creeks, though I have done a lot of research to figure out which creeks may be better. Just haven't had much luck.
Welcome ! I joined the other day and these folks are very helpful. I'm not far from you in Indiana. Down by the Ohio River seems to produce for alot artifacts.
Water was the key to everything for the ancients, much like today. Transportation, food, actual water, agriculture....you are wise to search near water.👍
Welcome from over Little Miami way. Creeks can be frustrating but when they come off of one it is usually sweet. Fields haven't been friendly so far this year. A tip and a 1907 Indian head penny is all I have this month.
