Totally newbie from Western Washington

I'm completely new to looking for arrowheads, just realized the other day that it sounds really fun and right up my ally. Glad to have this Forum as a resource and a place to learn. Any advise big or small is welcome, its all new to me.

Welcome , it is to bad you are in washington they have some very strict laws about hunting artifacts there now not like when i grew up in the tri-cities hopefully you can find some property owner who will let you hunt their land, i can remember when you could walk any river and pick up points i think you can still pick up agates but i am only guessing about that.
