    Hello,
    im new to this forum
    I'm also new to hunting for Indian artifacts.
    I live in south county RI.
    I think I might have found a piece of arrow. Ill post it as soon as I can get pic to resize.

                            I can’t tell from your photos what the material is, as to whether it is a known lithic used in our area or not. It has some of the physical appearances of a flake, but I can’t ID the lithic from your photos, to know for sure. It does not appear to be a fragment of an artifact/point, however. I don’t believe it is part of a broken projectile, and it may just be a rock.

                              It might be quratzite material. It looks like a utilized flake to me. Keep looking in the area you found it .

                                One photo reminded me of quartzite. Others looked granitic. However, I did recognize the characteristics of a flake, but uncertain if utilized...
