In the early '60s we moved to Gadsden, Alabama for my dad's work. Someone he worked with took him on his first arrowhead hunt, and then I started to go. I was 10 or 11. We used to go into farmers' fields--with their permission--after a rain or plowing, and hunt for artifacts. By the end of two years, we had accumulated many cigar boxes of artifacts from the earth.
Through the years, many have been lost or stolen (long story) but I've been able to hang on to some.
I will post photos of some of these things in one of the other forums for that, but for now just saying howdy. I'm happy I found this site.
