No riders or collectors etc.? I do have a schwinn 1x(?) speed or road bike i picked up on side of road for my mom but she says its a men's bike.  Sure the tires are dry rotted but may pull it out of back of garage sooner or later. New thing since headhunting has been awful (bits and pieces) with lack of rain.

Hey Josh, Where is everyone -  I can't believe nobody here rides! There's nothing like a good self-powered ride for a bit of fun -and- exercise in my opinion.
Anyway, here's a few of mine. I've had Fuji -and- Trek mountain bikes in the past, but couldn't locate pics - here's my Tucson AZ. trail rider (Luv the C-dales!)

This is from one of the Katy Trail rides I went on. 80 mile 2 day round trip. Rode out to Klondike Park and camped for the night. It's a Trek 6700. Cool story about that bike. I went to a garage sale and bought a pile of vintage toys for $2. One of the toys was a new old stock batmobile never out of box, two other toys were mint batcave and justice league play sets, all from the 70's. Sold them on ebay for a total of $680. Went to the bike shop the next weekend and payed cash for the Trek.

I've managed to hang onto this fairly early 1987 Ross Mt Hood Hi-Tech Mountain Bicycle. It has Cr-Mo frame, Sakae SX crank w/Oval-Tech gears (48-38-28),
Shimano SIS six speed rear, 36 spoke alloy Araya rims, and some very lg. Shimano brakes (note location of the rear brake) . It's been called the Don Johnson
(Miami Vice) of bikes with it's pastel colors

Ross was one of the early American developers and promoters of the sport of mountain bike racing in the early 80's. The Ross Indians were the first
organized mountain bike racing team with full factory support. One team rider, Cindy Whitehead achieved legendary status when running a 50 mile race:
her seat fell off during the 1st mile, and she went on to finish -and- win the race - YOU GO GIRL!

“Get a bicycle. You will certainly not regret it, if you live.” ~ Mark Twain
The Ross can occasionally still generates some excitement

            .

These days I'm more into long-haul touring bikes, sometimes making better than 100 mile days.

            Happy Trails Y'all!

A  fifty mile ride sounds like some fun. I have to admit that I don't know much about BMX bikes, but I do like that eighty (?) spoke wheel!

1947 Road Master. You should ride one that's the same age you are. No it's not mine. Darn.

Wal mart's around here are marking some bikes half off or clearance so bought this as a parts bike for the pink one (but painting after repaired) to live again.
Olden, not sure on the amount of spokes on that bike above, cheap wheel but need as many as I can get at my weight.

Got to build it cheap as the forks alone go for what i paid for a new bike and thats just crazy.
Well, plan b because whoever built it didnt know what they were doing.

A new parts bike isn't a bad way to go sometimes - the price of parts ARE off the hook!
I've rebuilt everything on my '93 Trek 520 except the wheels and they're going to cost me $450.
Yup, more spokes are better!
