I was down in Bixby (Oklahoma) plodding around on the river yesterday and found a couple of interesting rustifacts to take home. They smell delicious.
The first one. What is it? Is it some long lost prototype diving helmet? A howitzer's armored window? Maybe it's part of a barrel of 2-4-5 Trioxin! My imagination goes wild when I find rustifacts but it is also a testament to the longevity of materials.
The other picture is obviously a small wagon wheel but you sure couldn't tell that when it was found. It resembled a large hockey puck and had rocks GLUED together on it's surface with iron-oxide cement.
I like the look and feel of rustifacts and enjoy collecting them. They make for good photos and it takes trash out of the river, plus you get a good workout carrying them back.
