Thursday Junking finds?

I have Thursdays off and the wife and I went junking. I picked up a few old bait casting fishing rods and these two interesting pieces for $7. Check out the pictures and let me know what you think?

Hi,

I hear ya and couldn't walk away when I found out they were so cheap! Today was a little slow at work so I spent some time researching them. I didn't find anything on the pipe but I believe the vase is Greek or Roman? That explains the concretion on the outside of it. When I first saw it I thought it had been under water for a long time.The pipe is still a mystery?
