  • Aqua Sea Glass

Finally made it out to the beach today after days of snow, sleet, wind and rain. A cloudy day but the finest kind to spot sea glass with zero sun glare. This frosty aqua shard stood out against the shell and gravel midden. Seasoned beach hunters learn to discard the obvious and look for what doesn't belong. In this case the find spoke for itself with that beautiful color, most likely a piece of vintage Coca Cola bottle.

There are, but colors like red, orange & yellow are rare; becoming harder to find as plastic use increases. I'll take a glass bottle any time. This was once either a soda or baking powder bottle.

That’s pretty. I find some of that around here to on lake shores.

Sea glass is something that I see all of the time but I have never gotten into collecting Deb.
Maybe I should take more notice of it?

It has a history-- how old, from where, how did it get there? I found one piece of lovely teal colored glass that came from a Danish Aqua Vita bottle. Took some research, much like your metal findings, to identify the manufacturer.
