  • Very old Livery Stable receipt

Found these receipts while helping a friend remove old pine flooring from old house.

Hey NARH - those are in remarkable condition for being under flooring and dating back to the mid-1800's. Impressive.

From a relic hunter- Very cool! I like reading old papers like that knowing that they meant something to someone so long ago.

Yes! Really impressed with the great penmanship they demonstrated 160 years ago.

Very interesting pre civil war relic! I love old paper documents, even simple things as receipts and ledgers are neat! Thanks for sharing!
