You bet. But I don't remember that particular label. Looks like it's in great condition. Nice!

I have never tasted Royal Crown before. I like Coca Cola on occasion myself, but that's a dandy bottle. It look's like it was made in the 50's. Where did you get that one?

If it has the O and I "Saturn" mark on the bottom, take a pic. It's easy to date the bottle exactly if it is an Owens-Illinois bottle.

RC was a great cola ! I drank a lot of them.. I’m not sure or have never been told why they went out. Pepsi is really to sweet ,I like Coke , which is less sweet.. I think RC was between the two majors on that scale...Anyway, RC was a good cola.. JJ

I think I preferred Coca Cola more then Pepsi or RC too. When I was a kid on the Pettaquamscutt River, late 50's, we would walk down to Middlebridge, just a river crossing and, as the name implied, the second of 3 river crossings. There was a small restaurant/ bait shop that had a big red metal Coca-Cola tank. Open it up from the top, and all glass bottles floating in ice water and ice. I always fished the tank until I found me some birch beer, lol. That was my favorite by far.

[QUOTE=redrocks;n338014]Thanks Willjo. Yeah a song from the 70's.

I think Tracy Bryd sang it in the 1990's... "Lifestyles of the not so rich and famous"... not sure if it was a remake or not.....?

RC was a great Cola. A little whiskey in it was my favorite drink.
