A lot of new additions

[Kentucky point]

I was in Lexington all day yesterday. I had a tremendous amount of fun digging through a very large vendor with approximately 1,200 bottles, with a beautiful young lady, who happened to be interested in the CivilWar and bottles. Wowee! Every shelf, and even under the shelves was a gold mine of stuff! I found some real goodies there. I would have bought more, but I found a book there written by a Kentucky Confederate from the Orphan Brigade, and I had to have it.

Very cool Display Kentucky 👍. Some rare bottles in there! Here’s a couple I’ve kept. The 1870s/80s blob top corker Whiskey bottle I found many years ago. I was out hunting points coming back down from a Rim Rock bluff. Hiking through sage & —Lo & behold there she was! It lay out there all those years with cattle,Deer,Antelope & wild horses stomping round. That same day In 1972 I found 4 perfect points within 5 minutes time! The wind had blown & uncovered em!!! I was feeling really blessed. The other is a rare ‘Silver State Reno NV’ coke bottle from the 1940s. It’s embossed with a gold miner & mule! Keep up the hunt!
