Esquires apparently took better care of shoes back then! Maybe traveled with polish, discarded containers along way, like our ancestors left debitage! 👞=🏹?

That is a really nice bottle, and one that I have yet to find a whole example of. There is a creek in Pennsylvania that is LOADED with heartbreaker bottles, that being one of them. Great find.

Cool find. "P in a circle" mark makes it a Pierce Glass Co. bottle.

Benji, tsk tsk leaving shell & coral fossils in a creek...lotsa calcium carbonate & other biominerals, not to mention TONS of time, have been invested in them, and don’t you know that you can’t be common when you’ve “escaped the powerful, and often smelly, forces of ecological recycling” (as so beautifully worded by Smithsonian Magazine)?!

Nice bottle I’ve found some old polish bottles but gave them away also. The old trains used to go over the creeks here. I guess the people probably threw their empties into the creeks. Nice save ,too bad no points
