    Jacob Jockers beer bottle. 1880-1885. The great grandson of Jacob Jockers actually contacted me, and purchased this bottle from me.

    Rare J. Doherty druggist bottle from Sacramento. This one dates to about 1859-1865. The few known examples of this bottle have been privy dug, in Chinese laborer areas.

      Also here is this 1891 dated booklet for Horsfords Acid Phosphate, - whatever that was. For $2, that was an incredible buy.




      Some of these bottles will either be re-sold, or traded later on for other bottles, knapping stone, etc.

        Awesome bottle collection there! I have found several glass bottles along the Mississippi River down here. Most are from late 1800s to mid 1900s. I have always liked old bottles!

          You can plink all of the 1990s Pepsi bottles I found dumped in the woods on a neighbors property. There's a bazillion of them, someone has no more teeth lol!

              Sweet scores, what does the SS stand for on the Coke bottle? I’ve found a few from probably the 1950s , that crockery birch beer bottle is pretty awesome too. I found a gallon crock whiskey jug in December, has a hairline crack but was still intact so I lugged it home.

                SS stands for straight side. Before the classic Coca Cola bottle shape we know was invented, this was the shape used. Before this shape, they came in Hutchinson bottles. Those are worth about $6,000 so... I can't afford any now, lol!
