  • First Day Cover

    People who collect stamps enjoy first day covers. I collected when I was a kid, but I picked up 3 of these at the time they were issued because I thought the subject matter was an iconic element in American popular culture. And fun. The stamp is both holographic, and iridescent in many colors, when angled in the light. I managed to take some photos that show that aspect. Just came across them today, and it brought a smile

      That's cool, I remember in the late 80's holographics like that were kind of popular. I used to have a national geographic with a holographic cover, I think it was of the moon
