ID:	460224 Came across this beat up old button, few years back while hunting for arrowheads. Any thoughts as to its age?

That is a U.S. Soldiers enlisted mans button found on jackets ranging from the late 1850s, to post Civil War period. The shank is missing, so it's almost impossible to tell when exactly it was made unless there is a makers mark on the back. In states where the Civil War took place, that would be a nice "Yankee" button from the war. However up in Minnesota, I would suspect that it is a post Civil War button, and was made for the Indian Wars.
