Does anybody know what kind of bullet this is? Its not very big, maybe little larger than a dime

Looks like a modern “wadcutter” pistol bullet. Sometimes used in a modern muzzleloader for deer hunting.

Wait, that's a bullet? I wouldn't have guessed, and would have told it was some sort of metallic engine part, or something from a broken electric pole.

You cannot imagine the different shapes and sizes of ammunition! Stick with ancient projectile points and tools (this is your American Mother talking....)
