ID:	478818 Spent a couple hours in the creek this morning, looking
for artifacts. No arrowheads this time but I did come
across this. Any ideas to what it may of held, and age...
thanks!......✌️ Click image for larger version

Nice creek, should be rewarding walking there if you did not find artifacts

I've found a few bottles over the years but not helpful in that department, it has a nice blue color. That creek looks tempting

Nice pics and cool find.... that's a Cobalt blue jar....the blue comes from the element...Cobalt...a radioactive element.....but low low level in glass making long ago...there's a mine here in Connecticut...I don't think it's active now though

Sweet cobalt Noxzema jar. They produce facial creams and other items for skin care. Nice find... I always bring them home. Vintage glass for sure.

I know a couple guys like that they clean everything like a vacuum you won't even find a flake.

That's right. I'm primarily a bottle digger/hunter. Sometimes I'll find more than five of those in a day, but I always bring them home. People like those Noxzema, Vicks, Bromo Seltzers, and Milk of Magnesia bottles because they're a pretty blue, so they sell (cheaply) easily. They're very common so they can add up quickly. I'm assuming that you found that near an old dump. If you find a ravine with old glass pieces leading into that creek, you'll want to explore it. I bet you can surface find a lot of bottles that way.
