  • $1.00 Trade Token, Inkwells and Silver!

The fields are not giving me much more than a broken bifurcate... guess I'll share some stuff from the ravines. This is my second trade token, I'm hoping for more of them.

I'm a sucker for old glass and the cone sided inkwell is a first for my collection. The smaller one has a hand finished lip.

The silver keeps showing itself to me from time to time.

This one was probably part of a brush or comb handle. I have stumbled on eight pieces of silver so far in my wanderings. Imagine what I could do with a metal detector.
The farmers have the anhydrous tanks and disc out. Hopefully the fields will give me more to share soon.

        What year is the token?

SurfaceHunter, The trade token is more recent than the 5 cent one I found earlier. The material, value, and craftsmanship are what I am basing my opinion. My guess would be 1930's to early 1940's.
