  • Old Soviet Russian Coins

    Purchased these at a gift shop in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia January of 08. Both of the coins feature Lenin. I find it curious that neither of them have any numerical symbols except for the dates.

    In hindsight, I wish that I had purchased the carved wooly mammoth necklace made from tusk ivory. I was a coin collector at the time.

        That's something I hadn't thought of. I was guessing that maybe there was some communistic nuance that I don't understand.

      I have an eclectic coin collection that i got in on a trade years ago, some indian head pennies, buffalo nickles, etc...but a few cooler ones as well like some from Germany circa ww1 and ww2....🙂
