      First ones. others have been busted up. They were at base of tree 3/4 in ground and covered with pine needles. Was out checking on some hunting spots. Clearing out around tree to put up a stand. I like it clear around my stands so I can keep an eye out for Mr. No Shoulders.

            That’s a great find . They were a big business . I have a long one found at the base of the tree .

              It’s pretty cool . My husbands family had a very old generational hunting camp in that area . That was a big deal up there over 100 years ago . I’ll find a pic and post the one we found . Same way … by the trees . Because of the palmettos every where making it impossible to walk in there for most I believe that’s how it survived.
