    That's super awesome! I love learning about  western expansion and early frontiersman... those are priceless pieces of history you have! Couldn't imagine being in those days...Thanks for showing us! :woohoo:

      That's an interesting battle, and some great personal artifacts - it looks as though the arrowheads were used. Here's a bit of extra info.:

      I wonder how a war party of that size could be 'snuck up on'?

                  A great number of relics were found on this site over the years by a number of hunters.
                Larry Finnell has found over 2000 interesting items at this site and many of them can be seen at the museum in Sterling, Colorado.
