I needed a break from the water so on Friday I headed back to the bush. It has been a while so I expected a fair bit of trash and I was not disappointed.
The first thing I ran into was a bunch of "campers" with their tents and shopping carts. So I was very pleased to see the bylaw officers an hour later giving them the bums rush.
While the campers were there I hit another area and started to find all sorts of beer cans and bottles. I don't know about everyone else but just moving the stuff aside so I can detect is not my way.
This is what I hauled out of the bush yesterday.
And I certainly don't mind digging twist caps when they have a dime attached to them.
The recyclables were not that plentiful but oh well.
The junk bling was. Can you imagine what it would be like to find a real one this size.
No markings so more than likely plated.
Not a lot of clad but the bottles and cans paid for the gas.
The places I hunt have their dangers, contaminated needles, broken glass and weird people are not the only things to watch out for. This person was well fed and believe you me I was not getting any closer for a better picture.
