The weird and wacky world of detecting.

It's sad to say but I don't know of anywhere that I could go and not find junk.
So expect it work around it and remove it when ever possible is my motto.
This is what was dumped from the bottom of my pouch tonight.

Not much in the grand scheme of things but when you also find this.

And this.

And this.

And all of these you start to get the picture. Yes these are all from today.


Since the drought has hit.

Open fields are off limits so into the bush you go.
If you look closely you can see the winding twisty trail to follow.

And weird things sometimes pop up. Like 2 more cannon friction fuses.

And once in a while that beer can signal is not a beer can.
Just after picking up 3 of them not 5' back I swung the coil under this branch and got an identical hit.

The first coin out of the hole was.

And the second one will remain a mystery for a moment but I wanted you to see what they looked like fresh from the dirt.

And this was the 3rd coin in the hole.

  I had one more multiple target hole and these came out of it although the toy was somewhat deeper.

  So now for the round up. When the bottle recyclables were added to the daily clad this was the take for the day.
It certainly is nice when the gas is covered.

And the toy is a Lesney England No1 Which was made in 1948 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lesney_Products and the quarter is a 1962.

And here is the little silver spill.

I offered to trade my axe, which was in better condition than I first thought. 

   For one of the ones that Tim ( a member on my other forum) found the other day and so far it's a no go. :rolf:  I only asked for the one center right.
