I waited all day to go out because a friend was coming over from Vancouver to do a weekend hunt.
When I finally got out I ended up at the wrong place.
We were only 1/4 a mile apart but with bush in between we didn't see each other.
And to top it off I called his house instead of his cell. A total bone head move on my part.
At least I didn't stand around twiddling my thumbs while waiting.
As always the place is a little cleaner.
The first find was an old ladies compact.
The rough has hardened into the pink cake that you see on top.
Here is some of the stuff cleaned up including the compact. 
The keepers started with a very mixed up signal. 
These big 5 nickles are my second favorite nickle design. 
And progressed through these two to finish the day.
