  • OH so close.

Tuesday was a little different from most.
I had been asked to do a presentation to a local classic car club later in the evening.
So I spent most of the morning getting things together.
I could not possibly bring everything,
so I took a few things that I thought they might be interested in. Click image for larger version

I finally hit the dirt around 2 in the afternoon and then switched locations,
to meet up with Jon after he got off of work at 3:30
Not a ton of time swinging the coil but some finds were made. Click image for larger version

    I am skipping two here.
One LC was too toasty to even take a pic.
And I am saving one coin for the last. Click image for larger version

One stupid squiggly little line away from a JACK POT.
Ya I even sent out several texts saying JACK POT. Then I noticed it was missing that squiggly little line.
      An S.
Why when so many of my early US coins come out of the San Fransisco mint is this one missing the damn S? Click image for larger version

Hey Bruce, Some real nice coins in that bunch. I like the penny because it looks like an old Roman coin.

Hey Bruce hope the Car Club display went well. Looks like you came well prepared. Also looks like you had a good day with the Mine Lab.

Those old English pennies and half pennies are definitely fun to find Ron Thanks.

Bobby it was a blast talking to the car club members.

Ray you have no idea how disappointed I was to not find that stupid S.

                  Cool nozzles!
Thank you Josh. The one without the spray adjuster portion could possibly date as early as 1885.
The complete one has a patent date of 1908 and the funky looking one is possibly from 1912 Click image for larger version
