Wind Rain and Rainbows.

Wave after wave of storms has been hitting the area for a while now.
So the best thing is to keep the gear and camera handy.
This morning I took a drive with my youngest to see the waves crashing on the shore.
That's her leaning into the 50mph wind.

Which are expected to top out today at 65mph.

Yesterday I got lucky to get this pic.
I was soaked from the rain hitting my back at the same time as the rainbow showed.

I hit several sites on Wednesday and as always the trash is collected and removed.

And a day without the required number of pennies is unheard of.
The oldest coin yesterday was a 1919 wheat penny.

The oldest find came from a boulevard by an old church.

One of these times I will find the entire lock and not just the cover plate.

Silver can almost always be found hiding between the pennies.

There are no markings on this silver ring.

Because someone took a file to the band to make it larger. I guess that they made it too large.

Hopefully the weather will let up for you soon. I'm sure it was good to get out with your daughter even though the weather was a bit rough.

It definitely was Bobbie. She is in town for a short stay and loves watching the waves crash on the beach.
