  • What a difference a day makes.

Monday was a gong show of rain, rain and more rain.
Right around 2 1/2" of the wet stuff.
The CTX and I are both waterproof but I am starting to like comfort in my old age.
So I took the day off.
Tuesday however was a beautiful day here in paradise.
So I took advantage of the break in the weather.
The finds were few and far between where I was. Click image for larger version

It is so annoying to dig a sweet high tone only to find one of them standing on end. Click image for larger version

First out of the block was this.
It is missing the attachment ring. Click image for larger version

I took the opportunity to straighten it so that it will lay flat in the display. Click image for larger version

ID:	195165 Today I managed around 2 hours of dig time in between showers.
And to say that I should have stayed home would be appropriate.
4 or 5 pennies and a similar number of shell casings was all I could find today.

The silver pendant-- would that be Art Nouveau? Or perhaps Art Deco? What's the Jeep item? My avatar is curious.

I think that the jeep item is a snap on center piece for a wheel hub.
The pendant came from an area where I find items ranging from early 1900s to modern. The depth was shallow but so was the 1907 IH penny. Your guess on its style will be as good as any that I could make.

Early 1900s would make it Art Nouveau. Very nice.
