I am done! I have dug my last hole!

Unless I want the firing line to look like a prairie dog town.
By digging every single stinking last shell casing.
These are the last ones coming out of that area.
I am sure that there is more there to be found.
But the last 8 hours there has produced only 5 modern pennies and 1 US quarter.
And no one wants the place to look like this.
So I am done.
I moved on to another location yesterday.
The first target out of the ground was this. Ya I know. What the heck is that?
Well the other side showed a little more promise. I thought that I might have a way to reveal some of the detail.
What I did was put it into the reverse electrolysis to partially blacken it.
A light rub with my thumb to remove the blackening.
And voila.
1845 sixpence.
The next keeper was easily identifiable. As was the last one from there.
It's not as old as the last Sunday School pin that I found.

But it was fun knowing instantly what it was. I moved rather than getting a parking ticket and the next place gave up another old Chinese cash coin.
This one is in decent condition. And an old screw back earring. Today was not very productive.
This being the only keeper for the day.
