Teasers and Pleasers.

Any hunt I do is going to produce teasers.
I will start out this post with a teaser of the real pleaser.
How many of you can spot the pleaser in this photo?
Teasers are those nitro moments that keep us all hoping.
Great sounding signals which when first seen make the heart go pitter patter.
Only to turn into another disappointment.
Each of these was just such a signal. For any of you who are particularly fond of gold, pull tabs give the same feeling of hope. Pennies do the same thing for me.
Deeper pennies always make me think they could be silver coins.
And shallow ones are hopefully newer jewelry. On Thursday I managed only one hour between showers.
And it produced only one pleaser. On Friday there was a fair share of each.
The first pleaser was an odd thing. It was most likely an earring.

It is definitely not the best looking nose ring. The next pleaser was one of those very shallow targets.
So shallow that it was still on top of the grass. On Saturday I hit the ground with Mike first thing and later on just as Mike was leaving Colin showed up.
Nothing spectacular was found while Mike was there.
Good things did however happen just after he left.
This Turned into a vintage sterling and turquoise pleaser. OK. Time to get back to that first photo.
Did any of you see the shiny glint.
How about if I tighten up a little on it? Colin was about 20 feet away at the time I spotted the hole some dog had dug.
And I said out loud to him "I wonder if that dog did me any favors?"
Before you see the find I thought that I would share this picture of Colin.
He had walked very near the hole without checking it out.
And right after that he tried, without much success I might add, to hide behind a tree. OK OK enough of the teasers.
This is that pleaser.
The 20 inch chain ant the loop are both marked 585.
So 14K all the way.
I have been watching the lost and found sections online and nothing so far.

Okay Bruce, You got me spitting coffee. I was following reading your post and then I got to this pic.


Then I thought oh nose he didn't, So I but it on my desk top for future use
