It is hard for me to decide whether the eyeball finds or the metal detecting finds are the coolest this time around.
Before I get into showing the finds from the last three trips to the beach check out this short video.
I think that it will give you an idea of why I keep going back to this one spot.
After the last three days of wandering up and down the beach I had pulled 18 pounds of recyclables out.
9 pounds of brass, 6 pounds of lead and 3 pounds of copper. Two of the eyeball finds are not on the table.
My pouch seems to always be to full when I finally call it quits.
The wooden pulley wheel. And this smokey grey mason style jar lid. Are waiting to be picked up at a later date.
What did make it home was a nice old bottle.
George Morrison, druggist Victoria BC.
I am not sure if they kept using the bottles after his death in 1892
So the dating of this bottle is up in the air. http://www.ourgenealogy.ca/ps10/ps10_291.html
The clay pipe needed a little TLC (bleach)
