This is the nightmare of detecting in public parks.
Yesterday while clambering over some rocks the CTX indicated that there was a can between two of them.
Well it took a while to pull everything out.
And I really did contemplate leaving this pile for the bottle collectors.
In the end I decided that it was best to haul them to my car just in case the first person who found them was a hopped up crack head.
There are far too many broken bottles on the rocks as it is. Speaking of hopped up crack heads.
Today while out with Ronald aka Tinman we saw this fellow sitting in a hole drinking beer merrily digging away.
After a bit I walked over to see what the heck he was up to.
His tale of woe is that he cannot afford a good tent so he was digging a hole to lie in and spread his tarp over top of himself.
This is in the middle of a public park of course. You will have to take my word for yesterdays cheap makeup.
It was trash day today and yesterdays junk left early.
I have no idea what the hook like tings are. The first one was cool the rest were just annoying.
Costume jewelry can take all forms.
The wire ring is silver the rest are junk. Does anyone recognize the iconography on this one? Can we finders sue for false advertising?
That brass ring had promise when it first came out of the ground. However I seriously doubt the 16K that is stamped in it. Yesterdays best finds were coins, the best of which was another old copper.
