  • Bottles and cans, cheap makeup and costume jewelry.

This is the nightmare of detecting in public parks.
Yesterday while clambering over some rocks the CTX indicated that there was a can between two of them.
Well it took a while to pull everything out.
And I really did contemplate leaving this pile for the bottle collectors.
In the end I decided that it was best to haul them to my car just in case the first person who found them was a hopped up crack head.
There are far too many broken bottles on the rocks as it is. Click image for larger version

Today while out with Ronald aka Tinman we saw this fellow sitting in a hole drinking beer merrily digging away.
After a bit I walked over to see what the heck he was up to.
His tale of woe is that he cannot afford a good tent so he was digging a hole to lie in and spread his tarp over top of himself.
This is in the middle of a public park of course. Click image for larger version

ID:	267384 You will have to take my word for yesterdays cheap makeup.
It was trash day today and yesterdays junk left early.
I have no idea what the hook like tings are. The first one was cool the rest were just annoying. Click image for larger version

And from the depth of it I will hazard to say that this is a bear bell that was intended to head up to the gold fields with whoever lost it.
The first one of this design that I found was with a couple of 1800s US coins. Click image for larger version

The hook like things could be shower curtain hangers. It must have been a bad crash for the mountain biker that lost the disk brake. Love the bear bell and I am amazed that your local junkies dig their own graves (literally).

With the way they are killing themselves off with the opioids they might as well dig their own graves.

They look like shower curtain rings to me too. A pair of peace earrings. Do you have any hippie friends?

The only hippy that I know is me, but there is not a snowballs chance in hell that I am going to wear them.

I have resisted tattoos and piercings for 63 years Chuck.
I think that I can hold out a little longer for something nicer than those.

After you take him down with your bow Johnny.
Then I will gladly hang the bell on it.
