And without a makers mark of any sort this will remain a mystery as to its age.
None the less, it is cool. Click image for larger version

ID:	277021 The age of this one will also likely remain a mystery.
I know that at one time it was a pin. Click image for larger version

Was this civilian part of the war effort?
    Were they male of female?
Was it WWI or possibly WWII? Click image for larger version

There are those unexpected moments when you find something that you are ready to toss into the junk side of the pouch.
Most of us find modern pins.
And the moment that you see this you are ready to toss it. Click image for larger version

Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire was Britain's main decryption establishment during World War Two. Ciphers and codes of several Axis countries were decrypted...

ID:	277030 When I first pulled this one out of the dirt I was honestly confused.
I was truly unsure if it was military or not.
I figured that it was missing part of it.
So the first thing that I did was to text these pictures to Micheal and ask if C F A meant anything to him.

His immediate answer was Canadian Forces Artillery.
And that it was whole other than the one missing lug.
And by golly he was right.

I don't know if I did right by straightening it.
If it was a shoulder flash then it naturally had a slight curve.
If it were a collar tab the it would have been straight.

I guess that it is true Chuck. Not even our best friends can escape death and taxes.

Thank you. That pin was an unexpected surprise win for me. It will be proudly displayed with the rest of my militaria.
