It has been a wet and wild winter on the west (wet) coast.
In January alone there were 27 days of recorded rain here in Victoria.
Don't get me wrong, there are places that got it much worse than we did .
But dag nab, it we live in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains and this is not supposed to happen.
I have spent far to many days this year standing inside looking at this crap. And when it is not coming down it has been blowing sideways.
Even with all of that rain I have managed to spend some time almost every day out digging for goodies.
And as always I find far to much of this.
I guess that it is time to start sorting into the proper buckets.
As you could imagine I could go on and on by now showing the daily digs.
But I will not bore you all to death.
What I will do however is just show the last four days.
Not every day is a winner by any means, but they are not bad for short hunts.
My first IHP for the year today and it is toast. Yesterday I bumped into Jon as he was leaving a park, and he left a few goodies behind.
That bottle of beer alone is $5.99 at the liquor store plus taxes.
Thursday was fun.
And like I said not every day is a winner, this was Wednesday's haul.
