  • How was your week?

I guess that it is time for me to bite the bullet so to speak and write another long winded post.
This past week has had it's good days and it's better days.
I mean, how can you possibly have a bad day when you are out doing what you love.
I am going to continue showing all of the finds, good bad and otherwise.
For the simple reason that it gives reality to a post, rather than simply showing only the "treasure finds".
Day one of this post was last Saturday day, when I hit a local school yard. Click image for larger version

The St. Christopher medallion is now the fourth gold filed item I have found this year. Click image for larger version

I hit four different places and the first three were absolutely filled with trash.
This is the result from the first place of the day. And the next two were no better. Click image for larger version

But HEY, the fun is in the hunt.
Because if you are not looking you are definitely not finding. Click image for larger version

ID:	289493 On Thursday I decided to try a park that I have never been to before.
The finds were nothing spectacular but it was a fun little park to do.

The golden coloured ring is just costume but the rest is definitely silver.

Enjoy your end of the continent. Another nor'easter is inbound. Yesterday the tides were running so high they over-topped the dunes. No hunting! Phewy!

Holy Cow that's alotta sweeps and beeps!!! That piece with 53 on it and the totem below is different. I googled the coin in question and it sounds like it was a game token...like a slot machine or something. Bruce we gotta get you over to Oak Island and settle that once and for all!!!

That piece with the 53 is a license plate. Back then they decided that replacing the entire plate every year was to costly so for 3 or 4 years they made partial plates. You simply put this over top of the original plate to show that you were licensed for that year.
As to Oak Island, I would need to take acting classes. Because I just can't get that excited about finding a rusty hinge.
      Working...
