Boy does the time ever fly when you are just enjoying life.
I can't believe it has taken me this long to sit back down and post some finds again.
This will be a long one with lost of pretty pictures so sit back.
Relax and enjoy.
This is week one of my two week hiatus from posting.
Starting with Sunday March 4th.
Nothing special here but it was a fun park hunt. Monday I was at a loss as to where to go and while driving around I noticed that the tide was actually fairly low.
Well it didn't take me long to pull on the rubber boots and go for a shoreline stroll.
And boy was I a happy camper that day. You guys should know me and my saltwater brass by now.
It is kinda weird but the pocket watch says "Made in German"
And that oiler tin sprung an oil leak in the tumbler that took forever to get cleaned up. I am really happy with a few of those finds.
The native horseman was a little grotty when it first came out of the water. So what I did was boil it to get ride of the barnacle, and while the lead was warm I straightened out the arrow and the front legs a bit.
Sadly the base was in the tumbler with all of the oil and had to be thoroughly cleaned. These cricket buckle pieces came out together.
