  • Procrastination post #2 almost there.

Well guys and gals, this post picks up right where the last one left off.
If it were not for trying to keep a thyme going this post was going to be called "button button where's the button?"

The Canadian general service button would have definitely been the star of the day.
If this gorgeous silver thimble hadn't shown up first.
It is as fragile as all get out though as you can see the tiny portion that broke off on the lower right.

Well once again it is almost time to wrap up another post.
I started out the day hunting alone at one site.
Which turned out to be nothing but trash everywhere so plan B kicked in.
And after being there for an hour or more two friends piled out of their truck and joined my for a communal swing party.

However I posted the mystery silver coin and asked for help.
And good buddy Denman (from my other forum) replied with just the right information.

And if you squint real hard and stick out your tongue at just the right angle.
Please don't forget to make the right amount of gurgling noises while doing that.

Interesting finds Bruce love the buttons. "I go from place to place picking up stories along the way" a fitting statement! Thanks for taking us along.

Thank you Tom. Most of that junk is destined for recycling but some of it does end up in my collections.

Thanks Ron. Thankfully bare ground is almost never a problem here on the island.

Now get your butt in gear and post those fantastic coins that you have been showing me.

did you write on that coin? Or on the picture? Nice pile of trash and love the coinage too. Those parks owe you a debt of gratitude for all the stuff you haul out.

          Just on the picture Matt.
I have a feeling that when the recyclers ship all of the scrap I give them off island we may experience a bit of a tilt here.
