Look's like copper top center. Bottom, to The right of coin's look's kind of like a buckle but doesn't.

I think that you may be right. I originally thought that it was an automotive head badge but it may well be a buckle.

Pottery shards with the company name are always a great indicator of the age of the area.

I see the buttplate off a rifle, part of an old pocket watch, what I think is part of a sextant....that’s some cool treasures, Bruce👍👍

I wish that it really was a rifle butt plate but it is actually a homemade fishing spinner.

I thought it was a silver coin turned into a love token before that but it is just the cap to some small bottle or tube. The buckle sitting on the dime is nothing fancy but it is the absolute tiniest buckle that I have found.
Ans so is the skeleton key, it must have been a jewelry box key. Click image for larger version

I just found some information on the Royal Navy Canadian Volunteer Reserve.
This is a long read but it is worth it to see WWI from a personal perspective. https://www.cnrs-scrn.org/northern_m..._3_2_19-32.pdf Click image for larger version

            I agree Tamara.
A 6 foot tall man back then was an oddity and a 7 footer was almost unheard of.

Was watching a movie the other night with a very tall African.
Sudan having an average hieght of 6’4” got me on a rampage of research . Now looking up how the Chinese migrated back over . It never ends .
