    That is a sweet collection Chase.
    I would like to ask why you have given such an exact date for those. 🤔🤔🤔
    1880 may be the known date of the encampment, however tinklers were used far earlier.
    Weren't they?

      Yes, I have tinklers from Iroquois sites dating mid 1600's.

      You are right Bruce But in context with the other artifacts and the dates on some coins make it plausible they are from the same era. 2004 is when I got the metal detectors and when I hit a few sites that had not been detected

      Tinklers are like a wind chime but used on leather fringe clothing as well as bags the cone shape was used and a bead was fasten at the end of the fringe to hold it in place.
