  • A token from the past.

    I was thinking about getting a metal detector some time back, so I borrowed a friends and took it downtown where they were tearing an older building down and found this piece... Times were surely different then. Thanks for looking.

      Love these old tokens. We can put a fairly precise date to that one. The Palmolive-Peet Company was formed after a merger with Peet Brothers in 1926 and only operated under that name until 1928 when they were acquired by Colgate to become the Colgate-Palmolive-Peet Company.
      I keep six honest serving-men (they taught me all I knew); Their names are What and Why and When and How and Where and Who.

            I use Palmolive dish soap every now and then. :-)

          Maybe you should try writing Palmolive a letter and see if they will still honor it, with interest!
