    A few more old finds. One pic is of several lead pieces... Not sure if this is "debitage" of some sort that can give a clue to what was going on in the area? The bucle in about two inches across.

    These were all found on an old homestead on Bayou lafourche in Assumption parish Louisiana. Several Civil was skirmishes /battles took place in the area and I have found a minie ball on the same property. Thoughts welcome.

        If anyone would like to shed some light on these finds I'd be very grateful, especially the stirrup looking thing!

          The stirrup looking piece is quite likely horse tack.
