    Here are some photos of the countryside we are detecting in just some very old eroded mountains ( Laguna Mountains ) .
    Was hoping to get some pics of the desert bighorns they have been around the whole time but the minute i drag out the camera they are a no show. Click image for larger version

        It don't look like home. I can only see a couple hundred yards and that's because a field was cleared. Can you ride while metal detecting in that area?

          you can there are roads on the ridge lines and mountain bike trails

          it is a small lake off in the distance called lake mittery feed by the colorado river and irrigation water from the yuma valley

        Nice country out there. After you told the name of the town I Googled it thinking maybe it would make for a good retirement spot for me. I have to say that's some pricey property.
