    My son found this pickle fork ? appears to have a bone handle ? a little of everything is coming out of these camps a Mano on the bottom and a broken slate point

              I have 3 detectors and haven’t used in a year and a half . I need to get out there I’ve got a lead on a couple good spots

                I've never tried detecting before, but I know a few old home sites that I would like to try at. The kind with either rock or really old brick chimneys.

                I collected Civil War items for many years. IIRC two tine forks of that construct are pre-mid 19th century. I didn't do much metal detecting on the east coast to include a few plantations in S. Carolina, but every time I found something, to include many horseshoes it was a great rush. Thanks for sharing.
