I bought a small jaw crusher to break material down before we use the chain mill. We can also run lower grade ore easily to recover values.

This is my best personal finds in a long-time random rock's I cleared from pasture. We brushed this area with a Cat D 6 and have these rocks laying all over behind the house. I'm motivated to crush more rocks today lol Note this is near the top of the hill so vein close by maybe.Last edited by south fork; 11-30-2022, 11:22 AM.

Found a little float while burning brush ran it through the chain mill my best personal finds in a long time. Panned after crushing I will weigh after cleanup. This is from our property right behind the house. From just a couple pounds of ore a few grams of gold.

Thank you just a flat rock covered in dirt without a metal detector my son puts in the miles and hours. And knows natural from disturbance by man he's out there right now following that formation.

A couple days ago my son was out prospecting with his Minelab SDC 2300 spotted an open cut under the brush. After clearing off some forest duff he found this specimen of gold vein this will get some light cleaning and kept as a specimen maybe 227 grams of gold and rock. Crazy right I've been walking past these piles for over forty years. I was out burning brush when he drove by on a quad it was only 30 minutes, and he had this one. The small picker in the bottom of the pan is more the normal size finds at 2-grams.
