    First Silver Dime i have found. It came today in a drainage near an old silver mine. Then a little bit down stream - a rich piece of silver float from the same mine.

        Roughly treated and paid for itself many times over .......

        With the small coil - here are the gold nuggets it picks up - they range from 1/10 an ounce on the left down to a grain or two on the right

          First time for me . Never have seen silver ore .
          place I go ski in Co .. Breckenridge still has up all its old silver historical sites .

            Here is the silver ore when it is slabbed out on a rock saw. Dendritic patterns. It makes nice cabs :

                  Hunted with a whites for years switched to a Garrett ace 350 about 7 years ago I have 3 now it's a few lbs lighter saves on the back and shoulders if you can find an ace 350 get one and give it a try cheep and effective I've found coins at over 14" deep with mine maybe 9 or ten with my whites Ben back to spots I hit with the whites only to find more coins that I missed with the Garrett ace 350 I got a pile of 5900s I blew threw as a young man always had problems with my whites machines
