real nice work for doing it for such a short time
wish my early stuff looked that nice
im going to assume that you just use an antler tine as a hand flaker
have you thought of trying to make what we call an ishi stick?
it will help you get flakes to travel further(once you get used to using it),plus it will not take a toll on your hands and wrists

Very Nice , I say very nice for the time you have put into the art !
Try not to bleed tooo much ! :silly:
I use Kevlar gloves when knapping glass or any obsidian!
Maybe someone in the forum has a lead for them, found mine at a yard sale.
Happy Knapping and God Bless,   GB

i dont use gloves when i knap
i cant feel the stone with them on
but i know  a lot of knappers that use nitrile coated gloves
i use a piece of thin leather to hold obsidion an other rock when i knapp
leather works better in my opinion for two reasons
it helps avoid getting cut,but the big reason is it helps the flakes travel better and further on the rock
